Sometimes I don't agree with suggestions from the craft beer diehard

My opinion...of course, my taste buds might be better/different then yours.

I know Morph from Night Shift changes but it's gross.

I do dig the Castle Island Brews but again not going out of my way to buy them.

Houston we have a drinking problem

New years eve I took a gamble and bought some Space Juice by Long Trail and it paid off. Shits is good, real good. I just wish it was cheaper and came in a sixer of pounders. I have to get some more so I can go back to floating in the deep vacuum of space.

The Boston area has been booming with craft brew so when the hype starts to flow you have to find a bottle of what's buzzing. Thanks to my sister in law, I got 4 different beers from Trillium. Are they really different?

Broken Angel was the first and I'll be honest, it's the only one you need. It was like drinking the same beer over and over again. Other than a difference in alcohol percentage they all taste like a flower...the same flower. I'm no pro drink taster. I don't stick my nose in the glass and huff the fumes. I just like what I like. To me the hype was false

Would I drink them again? Sure! Will I wait in line to buy them? Nope!

Drunk smart phone

Been trying to post using my phone but everything I've written since turkey day has failed to publish. Dumb drunk smartphone.

Turkey Day

Thanksgiving has come and gone but I was able to pregame with my all year IPA favorite from Lagunitas. Drank a few too many watching the Bruins and playing  Ping Pong at my buddy Sev's house the night before. Woke up with a little headache. I did recover with the a few more and some pounders of Gannsett and PBR at the in-laws for the feast. OK, a few more IPA's before bed should do it.

Some beers are treated like a cryptozoology specimen. One you can now get in MA the other you still have to travel to Vermont for. We had to pray for someone to pick up cases of Yuengling or wait for my brother inlaw, Uncle Beard Face, to visit his family in PA to get taste of this bottled sample of unicorn tears. Now it's everywhere and cheaper than Bud. I still drink it here and there.

Heady Topper is still Bigfoot around here. It's good but over rated. Still, drink it if you can get it. Cool thing about HT is we know the artist who designed the label art. His name is Dan Blakeslee, artist and musician.
Check him out he's a cool dude and doesn't drink, how ironic

Most drank in the last 5 years

I was introduced to Narragansett lager my my good friend, drinking buddy and chef, Jim Gracie. We drank just about everything in the Union Square area of Somerville, MA mostly at the now closed Tir na nOg a long time back. How I never stumbled on it then ... well who knows maybe I did but just can't remember.
Anyway, for the past five years its been my go to every day beer. It's sweet tasting and cheap. I usually drink the pounders or Gansett Slugs if you will. I did the retro can since I love Jaws. Jump on the bandwagon and crush it like Quint.
